Cardboard box, various plants found living in and on brick and stone, FM radio unit, 70x25x25 cm.
“Plants living in and on brick and stone walls can pose a treat to the wall structure, but dense growth of old plants can also hold the wall together.” – The National Trust of Scotland.
In this work wall-living plants are incorporated as a tuning component of a radio unit. The constant change in the temperatur, light and humidity affect the plants, which in turn effect the reception and amplification of the audio signal.
