Cotton threads of various lengths, pieso-transducer, cable, preamplifier,
amplifier and speaker.
Two strings are extended from the back wall and the pillars of a room through the building’s windows and tied to two trees outside. Inside the room are two transducers placed directly on strings. They
translate the movements and vibrations of the strings into sound. It is primarily the atmospheric conditions outside the building that create the oscillation. The sounds are amplified and played
in spaces adjacent to the building (above the street staircase and entrance).
