I invited the artist and musician Maria Diekmann to accompany me to La Sala della Consultazione in Rome. Several prison sketches by the Italian artist Pianesi  (1720 – 1778 )  were displayed for us here. With the prison sketch Carceri, pl XIV, 2nd state, in mind, Maria gave a live performance, improvising a piece of music based on her memory of this printed work. The performance took place at The Danish Institute for Art and Science in Rome.
